          ในโลกที่ผืนนภาเต็มไปด้วยเกาะลอยฟ้า เด็กหนุ่ม Gran และมังกรพูดได้ เวิร์น อาศัยใน Zinkenstill จนได้พบกับเด็กสาว ไลเรีย ที่หนีมาจากจักรวรรดิ์เอิรสเต้ เพื่อที่จะหนีจากจักรวรรดิ์ ทั้งสองได้เดินทางไปยังเกาะต่างๆ โดยมีจดหมายของพ่อ Gran ที่ทิ้งไว้ให้ ที่ให้เขาเดินทางไปพบที่เกาะแห่งดวงดาว Estalucia
